My Secret Source for quality relic basses has really outdone himself this time. I'm ordering these one at a time and will eventually be featuring them for actual sale, if you can believe it. This one has a one-piece swamp ash body with see-thru blonde finish and a 3-ply pearl pickguard. The entire body is finished in nitro and has the fine finish checking you would expect from a 50-year old bass. Same goes for the neck. The aged bridge even features ebonol saddles that you would expect to see on an early 50's bass. These basses are produced with 100% Fender Licensed parts and this one goes a step further and features a Delano pickup with huge pole pieces for a tone that is other-worldly. Weighs only 8 1/2 lbs.
